Q: How do I care for my ephemera necklaces and earrings?

 A: Our Ephemera pieces are coated in resin and sealed around the sides and back. You can safely wear these pieces in the rain, and should not wear these pieces in the shower or swimming. 

Q: How do I care for my Ariadne, Peaseblossom, and other necklaces strung on nylon?

 A: Nylon is a very hearty and forgiving material. You can safely wear yours to sleep or the shower. We do recommend you give them a rest from time to time however. If you find that your necklace is looking a little worse for wear, not to worry! Send a message to elena@shopfolkloric.com and we will be happy to restring it for you. We will do this for free so longs as our little fingers work and always ship back to you for free.

Q: I have a piece of ephemera I would like to have turned into a custom piece. How can I do this?

 A: We would be delighted to work with you to turn a piece of your own ephemera into wearable art. Just email info@shopfolkloric.com to inquire. 

Q: I love your pieces, but can you make one for me that is longer/shorter/ a clip-on/etc.?

 A: Wanting something but need a slight tweak? We are happy to help, just contact us before you place your order to let us know what you need. While we do our best to design pieces to be accessible for most wearers, we understand that every so often, we need to make some adjustments for a particular wearer. As most of our pieces are made to order, these small changes are very easy for us to accommodate.

Q: How long until I receive my order?

A: Most of our pieces are made to order, we advise a 7 day lead time before shipping. We will be in touch should you order require additional lead time.

Q: Speaking of shipping, how do you ship?

A: We ship via USPS Priority Mail with a flat rate shipping fee of $8.

Q: What is the return policy?

A: All custom pieces are final sale. Ready-to-ship pieces may be returned for exchange or shop credit. To process an exchange you must contact us within 2 weeks of receiving your item. We will process your exchange item or shop credit once the original has been received in our studio. We do not offer refunds.
